Parking: Signs will help guide the way for parking that is close to the Conference Center side of the hospital.
Event hours are 12 pm to 4 pm. There will be several opportunities for small workshops and demonstrations--"Pregnant In The Piedmont Tiny Talks" we call them. Check below at the bottom of this page for an example of previous Tiny Talks and Mini Classes. Keep an eye on this page for the updated schedule. Once you register at the start of the event, you will be eligible for many door prizes that will be announced through out the day. Babies and children are welcome! We will have free balloon twisting and face painting, a PITP tradition, with Twisted Dog Productions, LLC. There will also be a soft play area for the smallest babies and toddlers, courtesy of Playful Adventures, LLC. In addition, siblings to be can hop on the big sibling bus (really, it's a bus!) and practice diapering, swaddling, burping and loving on a baby doll, to get them ready for being a big sib! Sibling Space is brought to you by local nanny agency Nanny By Design! We have over 45 sponsors and vendors, with information ranging from pregnancy, to your baby registry, to help with parenting! There will be giveaways, prizes, information, shopping--all in one convenient location! You DON'T have to be pregnant to attend. PITP focuses on pregnancy, babyhood, and parenthood-as well as few other things mixed in! Pregnant In The Piedmont is hosted by Piedmont Doulas, and is made possible by a presenting sponsorship from Novant Health. Questions? You can email us at [email protected], or call 336-448-4114. |
